The best way to get around Boston is on foot.  The parts of the city between and around the towers and the hotels listed above are pleasant-to-wonderful and as safe as it gets in a big city.  (Just stay out of the parks after dark.) Local ringers generally walk between the two downtown towers.

The second best way to get around is on the “T,” our subway system which runs to the airport and so is likely to be useful for getting from your plane to your lodging.

We recommend avoiding driving.  To park in Boston generally costs on the order of $30/day and short term parking even where it is available can cost $20 for two hours.
